Manual therapy/Chiropractic

Jenna uses a variety of techniques to improve mobility/stability as well as to maintain optimal function. With each individual having different strengths and needs depending on age/activity level/health history, she evaluates specific to each individual and uses a combination of deep tissue work, chiropractic and exercise rehabilitation.

Jenna moved to the Pacific Northwest in March 2020. Previously, she lived and worked in Palo Alto, CA and Minneapolis/St Paul, MN. Certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) since the early 2000s and graduated with a chiropractic degree in 2005 from Northwestern Health Sciences, she thinks of herself more as a body mechanic using a variety of tools (ART, massage, chiropractic, exercise instruction) as needed or desired by the individual. She has taken courses from many different providers, including SFMA 1 and 2, Connective Tissue in Sports Medicine led by Dr. Schleip, performance therapy at Altis with Dan Pfaff, among others. By learning from so many others who have mastered their crafts in their various fields, she has realized that the more she learns, the less she actually knows. But, a consistent tool she has used is the ability to listen and problem solve with her clients.

Jenna worked and traveled with Stanford Track and Field from 2013 until 2020 helping comanage injuries as well as prepare the athletes for competition. She also worked in private practice in Palo Alto and Minneapolis/St Paul treating people with varying interests including runners, musicians, professors, professional athletes, broadway actors; all with one goal in mind, to move well and pain free. It is her belief that it is a team effort (client/provider) to establish the style of treatment that works best for the individual as well as refer to other providers as needed.

Jenna graduated from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, MN with a degree in Biology and Education. A runner for 20+ years, Jenna competed in the US Olympic Trials in the marathon. She has coached at all levels, as an assistant in high school/college and most recently at the community level. She continues to work on the “art” of treating and teaching and is motivated by helping others achieve their ideal level of activity and lifestyle.

Whether you are experiencing a recent injury that needs evaluation and a plan to address it or you are interested in some form of regular care, Jenna is happy to help.
